STMC SUMMER CAMP 2007
in HAKONE
On August 25th and 26th, 
our club held an annual summer camp in Sengokuhara.
The venue was the same Hakone Shiki Hotel we used last year.
All the participants had a great time together.
Let's see how they enjoyed.
Following a welcome address by President Hirakawa and the program explanation
by camp Leader TM Suzuki, the first workshop was held.
TM Chandra gave a unique workshop to learn Telugu alphabet
and VEDIC, Indian mathematics.
After a coffee break,
"Show and Tell" session was conducted
by all the participants.
The topics varied and they all performed enthusiastically.
For example:
speeches about hobbies and events,
singing, harmonica playing,
magic performance
and tongue twisters and more!
The session went into three parts,
including the time after dinner
and the first session of the next morning.

It is easy to imagine
how much those of you who didn't attend
have missed.
After taking an outdoor bath, the participants had a delicious dinner
with beer and wine in a relaxed mood.
Then they danced Awaodori, an inevitable dance in the Summer camp,
led by the dance leader, TM Ueda.
Till late night, they had a joyful time gathering to sing Karaoke and to play games.
The second day!
A workshop on the use of articles was held
by team-teaching of
TM Hamai and TM Kaneko
with well-prepared worksheets.
The learning was very practical to everyone.
Our President concluded the whole program before noon
and everyone was satisfied and grateful to the Camp Leader TM Suzuki for her great efforts
to make the camp such an impressive one!
