GUESTHOUSE WATAYA enjoyed its history of over 100 years since the end
of Edo era. With the tide of time, however, it was closed 40 years ago.
But at the recommendations of our old customers, my music friends and my
neighbours GUESTHOUSE WATAYA has been re-opened after it was completely
remodeled, retaining its historical character.
"GUESTHOUSE WATAYA" is a small and friendly inn with 3 rooms
only for a maximum 9 guests, located besides by the hill famous for HAKONE
EKIDEN, "Yugyoujizaka " (Yugyouji-hill) (Hakone Marathon) in
the quiet area of historical Fujisawasyuku
